Are you interested in developing yourself into a better person and a better applicant for future jobs and grad school? Assembly for Action gives you the chance to win a $2,000 grant to work with a nonprofit in Gainesville to better both yourself and the nonprofit.
Assembly for Action is a four-day conference to teach students more about nonprofit and personal development. We educate and enable students to make a difference in the community through seminars on subjects including community development, non-profit leadership, entrepreneurship, the ethics of volunteerism, public speaking, and grant writing. If you are chosen as an Action Scholar, then you will work with a nonprofit and your peers to write a grant proposal to implement your project at the nonprofit. Winning grant proposals will be awarded $2,000 to make your proposal a reality.
If you are interested in getting involved in this award-winning program, visit assemblyforaction.org/take-action or come to our information session in Pugh Hall on September 27 from 6 to 8 pm.

Recognizing how expensive it can be to intern in New York City, EHS is pleased to offer discounted summer rates to students currently receiving a Federal Pell Grant. We hope this initiative will give more students an opportunity to intern in the Big Apple.
Additionally, all students who reserve summer 2019 housing by March 19th will receive a $200 gift card for a food delivery service (such as Grubhub) when they arrive, also helping to lighten the cost of a summer in NYC.
Information on both offers.
