The Student Activities and Involvement Leadership Experience program or SAILE is a 6-week selective leadership series for current student leaders at the University of Florida. Participants will be challenged to enhance their current positional leadership style and grow in their identity as a leader on campus.
Participants in SAILE will:
- Maximize current leadership style
- Gain strategies for effective delegation
- Examine the dynamic between leader and follower
- Increase facilitation of group dynamics
- Aid in organizational sustainability
- Help organizations solve complex challenges
Sessions are led by faculty, staff, and community facilitators with a strong emphasis on dialogue, interaction between participants, activities, and reflection.

Tallahassee Internship Program during the Spring 2020 semester with Florida’s legislative session.
ALL ACADEMIC MAJORS are encouraged to apply. Program alums have gone on to do great things as a result of the skills and contacts acquired during their internship experience.
The internship is jointly sponsored by UF Government and Community Relations and the Bob Graham Center for Public Service and gives undergraduate students first-hand experience in our state’s political process. Students earn up to 6 hours of academic credit and receive a stipend to help offset the cost of living in Tallahassee.
Four information sessions about the program are scheduled throughout September:
