University Press of Florida at UF is seeking interns for the Summer 2021 semester in the following areas: Acquisitions, Editorial, Design, and Production, Marketing, Marketing Design. University Press of Florida is the official publisher of the State University System and thus works with numerous diverse authors, manufacturers, and distribution channels. This internship program offers students of all majors the opportunity to gain employment experience in the business of book publishing. The application deadline is Friday, April 23.

The Stephen C. O’Connell Center is a multi-purpose arena and student activity center whose mission is to serve as an academic, athletic, recreational and entertainment facility. In addition, we strive to provide superior service to guests and clients, and training for future leaders. In support of its mission, the O’Connell Center hosts five interns each semester, each with a different focus. We will be accepting applications for our SUMMER 2021 positions until February 28 at 11:59pm and our FALL 2021 positions until May 9 at 11:59pm.

Do you have an innovative idea for a business? Make it a reality by registering for the annual Big Idea Gator Business Plan Competition!
The Big Idea Gator Business Plan Competition was created to help students grow their business ideas. Students will develop their business plan over the spring semester and submit their plan for a chance to pitch to judges and win over $40,000 in prizes. The EIC provides mentorship and the opportunity to audit the Business Plan Lab for free among other resources to help you along the way.
The dates for this year’s semi-final and final rounds will be April 22-23, 2021. Please note that the event will be virtual this year. Big Idea is open to ALL students, on-campus and online, graduate and undergraduate.
