The Heavener School of Business offers 8-10 week study/intern abroad programs in Dublin, London, Madrid, Paris, Rome, Seoul, and Madrid. Heavener study abroad programs allow students to meet UF degree requirements, take language and culture courses onsite, and complete a professional internship in a sector matched to their professional interests and goals. Financial aid is applicable to programs fees, and scholarships are available. Application deadlines vary from February 22 to March 1. UF students have the opportunity to study abroad at one of Warrington’s 27 international partner universities in Europe, Asia, South American and Australia while paying UF tuition at their current rate. Accepted students will expand their business curriculum, make international friends, live in a global business hub and have exciting travel opportunities.

The Fall 22 Global Gathering will be held on Tuesday, Sep. 13 @ 6:30 pm in Hough Hall, Room 120. The event will feature international students studying at UF, the Global Business Society Executive Board, UF Advisors from the Master of International Business Program (MIB), and UF Advisors from Heavener International Programs.

Marketing & Communications Services is hoping to gather feedback from students regarding their experience with Warrington’s website through a series of focus groups that will be conducted over the next several weeks.
Each focus group will last between 1 – 1.5 hours and will be hosted on Warrington’s campus (exact date/time/location to be determined). Each student that participates will be offered Warrington swag!

The Gator Major 4 Major Mentorship Program is a student-run organization for mentors to provide an easier transition to incoming students. Participating freshman and transfer students will be paired with a Junior or Senior in the same college/department studying the same major. Serve as a guest service representative and ambassador for the UAA on average up to 23 home baseball games, plus post-season play throughout the season, depending on job assignment for each game. Some students and non-students will be needed to work more than 23 games throughout the regular-season. As a guest service representative, you will be the face of the UAA throughout home baseball games. You will be answering fan questions; solving problems and making all fans feel both welcome and comfortable during home baseball games. Your goal is to provide a championship experience with integrity to our fans. You’ll have the opportunity to gain invaluable experience working in collegiate athletics and have the chance to build a professional network. Guest service representatives will get a behind-the-scenes look into how collegiate athletic events are run. This posting will be open until qualified candidates have been selected.

The University Human Resources’ Office has a paid student internship opportunity available this Fall and/or Spring semester for those who wish to work 10-30 hours per week. The internship involves participation in dashboard building, human resource reporting, process improvement, and compliance projects designed to implement or improve best practices in each area.
The selected intern will join HR Data Services & People Analytics team, which provides a wide range of human resources data that support and assist in the creation of a strong HR environment for the University.
