Gator Guest Services is searching for Fall Game Day Ambassadors who will play a vital role in the success of the fan experience at Gators athletic events, and serve as representatives of both the University of Florida and Florida Gators. They maintain the operational policies in place for all Gators athletic events, and serve as liaisons between Gator Boosters, fans, game day staff, and Athletic Department Personnel. As Gator Guest Services-Game Day Ambassadors, you will be the face of the Florida Gators throughout each of our home athletic events. You will be answering fan questions, finding solutions to fan problems, and making all fans feel both welcome and comfortable during athletic events. Happy 2021 Summer Gators,
The Brown Center for Leadership and Service is inviting you to apply for our next LeadUF adventure.
LeadUF is a signature leadership experience designed for new, transfer, and second-year students to continue their leadership development journey and connect with other students. Taking place before classes begin, this pre-arrival program will help students learn, reflect, and develop a personal leadership framework through activities and skill development.
Every year we seek out passionate students who are interested in exploring their leadership potential and the impact they can have within their communities. This is an opportunity to connect to peers and reflect on their own leadership journey while having some fun.
When is the program? August 18 – 21

Summer 2021 – The DC Gator Club is opening its application process to award four Internship Scholarships of $1,000 each for University of Florida students with internships based in the greater Washington, DC area (DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia) for Summer 2021. This scholarship is made possible by DC Gator Club general funds.
Undergraduate and graduate students interning for an organization based in the greater DC area (DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia), in-person OR virtual, are welcome to apply. The internship does not need to be for credit. There will be a voluntary section where the applicant can communicate financial need if they wish. NOTE: Students with virtual internships are only eligible for the scholarship if the internship would have taken place in the DC area if not for the COVID-19 pandemic.
If a student is not enrolled in classes and not interning for credit (instead, doing a non-credit internship), the tuition scholarship would apply to their next eligible semester. All applicants must be completing an internship with an organization based in the greater DC area in Summer 2021 to be eligible for the scholarship.
For purposes of this scholarship, an internship is defined as a short-term work experience offered by companies and other organizations for people to gain exposure to a particular industry or field. The DC Gator Club recognizes fellowships as also meeting these criteria.
Scholarship applications will be reviewed by the D.C. Gator Club Scholarship Committee and four recipients will be selected for a $1,000 scholarship.
APPLICATION OPENS: June 15, 2021
APPLICATION CLOSES: July 2, 2021, at 11:59 PM EST
AFTER SUBMITTING THE APPLICATION FORM, please send your unofficial transcript to email@example.com.
After receiving the scholarship, the selected scholarship recipients will be asked, but not required, to submit a video clip or picture/caption sharing their experiences while interning in the Washington, DC area and participate in a DC Gator virtual event recognizing the recipient (to be determined).
